Pick a funder tier
How funder tiers actually work
Funders don't publicly publish their stip lists, but the patterns are consistent. Tighter pricing = stricter docs. The trade-off is real: if you can package a clean Tier A submission, you'll save 10-15% on factor rate vs Tier C. If you can't get the docs together, Tier C will fund in hours.
How to use this list:
- Start with the tier you're most likely to qualify for given your credit, prior funding history, and revenue.
- If you can't gather a Tier A doc within 3-5 business days, drop down a tier — the lost time costs more than the rate spread.
- "Optional" items aren't truly optional if your file has any flags (NSFs, prior defaults, multiple stacks). When in doubt, include the letter of explanation.
Note: these are advisory checklists, not guarantees of approval. Underwriters can and do ask for additional documents on a per-deal basis. Build the file once with everything; resubmissions cost you days.
